It is a great base for active holiday lovers. Right next to it there is a nature reserve Biała Woda (White Water), from where there are hiking trails towards Mały Pieniny, Beskid Sądecki and the famous Homole Gorge. In Jaworki itself, there is an atmospheric Musical Shepherd's Hut, where concerts by renowned musicians take place throughout the year.

The neighbouring town of Szczawnica offers plenty of tourist attractions - walks, trips e.g. to the Three Crowns, Sokolica, the Red Monastery (Slovakia), rafting on the Dunajec River, rafting, ski lifts and ski slopes. It is a good starting point to other towns and trails in the Pieniny, Beskid Sądecki, Podhale and the Tatra Mountains (Krościenko, Lake Czorsztyńskie, Krynica, Nowy Targ, Zakopane).
